We can't do this alone. We need your help. Cancer is not prejudiced -it's an equal
opportunity killer. Cancer does not care about the color of your skin, your age, or your
economical status. According to the Florida Department of Health, 5 out of 50 women will get
breast cancer by age 80. We still don't know what causes breast cancer, but we DO know
that prevention is the key! A woman that has a mammogram on a regular basis is less likely
to die from breast cancer.
We receive a large number of calls each week from women in our community in need of a
mammogram! To date we have been able to serve only a small number of women who
otherwise would not have received a mammogram. But the need is much greater than our
current ability to serve due to funding limitations. Every second counts in the fight against
